HEESEN 5000 FOR SALE

Delivered in 2011 by Heesen Yachts and refitted in 2025, this 49.80m (163’5″) Heesen 5000 is a fully customised aluminium superyacht from one of the Dutch yard’s most popular series, lying in Dubai. Her exterior lines are by Omega Architects, with a traffic-grey hull and white superstructure, and at 499 GT she offers the volume of a much larger yacht. Twin MTU 16V4000M90 diesels of 3,650 HP each drive her to a 23-knot top speed and a 17-knot cruise, with a range of around 3,200 nautical miles at 11 knots. Zero-speed stabilisers keep her comfortable underway and at anchor, and engine hours are available on request.

Her interior by Domus Nova and Cristiano Gatto Design sleeps twelve guests in six cabins: a full-beam master suite forward on the main deck with a private study and walk-in wardrobe, and on the lower deck an oversized VIP cabin aft, two further doubles and two twin cabins, all served by a crew of ten. The main saloon pairs cream sofas with dark gloss joinery and a formal dining area, while the bridge deck holds a spectacular circular lounge with 270-degree views and a large screen for movie nights. A sculptural, wave-inspired staircase in polished steel links all three decks.

Outside, the split-level sundeck is her signature: a large jacuzzi forward flanked by sunpads and, aft under skylights, a genuine sky lounge with a walk-up bar, picture windows and sliding glass doors fore and aft, so the space works in any weather. The bridge-deck aft is arranged as an open lounge with deep sofas in mint and orange, photographed here against the Burj Al Arab and the Dubai skyline, and the foredeck carries a shaded sunpad lounge beneath a canopy.
