The Sunseeker 131 departs Dubai Marina in the early evening of 31 December and takes position ahead of the midnight displays. Depending on the official programme, the captain stations her off:

The Evening’s Table
New Year’s Eve catering is built around the occasion — a seated dinner by a live chef, champagne through the evening, and unlimited drinks for the duration of the charter. Menus are agreed in advance and the crew serves quietly, deck by deck.

Six Hours or Twenty-Four
The New Year’s Eve package is offered at AED 240,000 for six hours — boarding in the early evening, the midnight countdown at anchor, and a return to Dubai Marina after the displays.
For those who want the night in full, the 24-hour package at AED 300,000 means boarding on 31 December and stepping ashore on 1 January — the first morning of the new year spent at anchor, breakfast on deck, no reason to leave at midnight.
One Yacht, One Group
New Year’s Eve on the Sunseeker 131 is a single booking — one group holds the yacht for the entire night, and the date can only be reserved once. A deposit secures it; final timings and routing are confirmed with the captain around the official display schedule.
