The Aquila 42 is the mid-size power catamaran that made the yard’s name: a 12.64m twin-hull with a 6.40m beam, a full flybridge under a hardtop, and the volume of a much larger monohull. This 2024 example has just 250 running hours and is lying at Marasi Marina in Business Bay, Dubai, ready for viewing.

She is powered by twin Volvo Penta D4 diesels — 230 HP as standard, with a 300 HP upgrade that returned 21.6 knots flat out and a 16.6-knot cruise in factory testing. Her layout sleeps up to five in two en-suite cabins plus a utility berth. Resin-infused vinyl ester construction keeps the hull light and stiff, and she carries a CE category A ocean rating.

The flybridge is the heart of the boat: helm, wet bar with grill, and a dinette under the hardtop, with direct steps down to the foredeck sunpads. The saloon opens to the cockpit through a galley pass-through window, so inside and outside work as one space — exactly as the shipyard photos on this page show.
